Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Exhibition 2019

In late February the annual fair of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration was held at IFEMA in Madrid. A representation of Humiclima attended to see first-hand the innovations that brands bring this year to the sector.

Among the width and variety of exhibitors, brands, news, workshops ... thronging the exhibition centre, this edition has drawn attention positively to the involvement of the manufacturing industry of air conditioning to get more efficient and environmentally friendly equipment. It is also interesting the evolution and regulation of the use of refrigerant gases, as well as the different approaches each manufacturer are providing for the use of those less polluting gases. Must be also highlighted the integration of Asian brands in the European market, as in terms of price are very competitive.

On the other hand, we liked the incorporation of new tools or materials that make some tasks easier to be performed or even improve the performance of some installations, such as the evolution of anti-vibration rubber pads, which we could verify in situ its correct operation on a test bed plate.

And regarding all the brands ... Keyter, Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Hitecsa, Lennox, Airflow and countless of others manufacturers... to choose one brand or another is currently a hard task because of the huge variety of options included in the extensive catalogue available, being able to meet the requirements of domestic and industrial installations.

As installers, evaporative coolers has attracted our attention, a type of relatively new equipment capable of regulating Tº in large rooms with minimal power consumption, obtaining very high COPs. Also, new features and improvements in anti-vibration rubber pads can be very interesting in terms of installation or replacement of equipment, because it is a very good solution to give maximum comfort to customers and avoid vibrations.

In short, the fair has been really interesting, now we just need to work so to include these advances in our facilities.
