RIOMAR SHOPPING CENTRE

The RioMar Mall is a large shopping centre in Recife, Pernambuco. Opened on October 30, 2012, it is one of Brazil's largest commercial enterprises and the largest complex of its type in the North and Northeast regions. With 5 floors, 101 square metres of leasable area, and 295 thousand square metres of built up area, it is the largest project undertaken at one time in the commercial sector anywhere in the country.

 
RioMar Mall is the first shopping centre in Brazil to merit the AQUA designation (High Environmental Quality). The AQUA sustainability certification is renowned worldwide and includes the four stages of the project, from construction to operation.
 
In total, the shopping centre has 405 shops, 18 of which are anchor stores, 7 megastores, a gym, 3 thousand square metres of Companhia Athletica, restaurants such as Rui Paula, Outback Steakhouse, Juan Pobre, The Fifties, Kisu, among others. It has 6,200 parking spaces. The hotel has an electronic amusement park, bowling, 12 cinemas (two of which are Cinemark), a VIP XD, and a theatre which can sit 700 people.
