LEED© o Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design es el programa de certificación de edificios sostenibles que reconoce la excelencia en estrategias y prácticas constructivas de edificios de nueva construcción, rehabilitación o en fase de uso.
Los edificios certificados como LEED®, en comparación al resto de construcciones, tienen menores costes operativos, menores consumos de energía y agua de hasta un 40%. Además de gozar de un prestigio, reconocido globalmente, lo que les permite obtener un mayor valor de mercado, una superior rentabilidad en su etapa operativa y una muy superior calidad ambiental de los espacios intervenidos, lo que permite tanto mejorar la productividad como la satisfacción de los empleados.
